About Me

Hugo Meza was born and raised in a small, impoverished town of about 100 people in Ancash, Peru. After finishing high school, he immigrated to America, learned English as Second Language for about a year, and then joined the US Army, serving as active duty, the Army Reserve, and serving in Iraq. Hugo, currently, lives with his wife, two children in Wayne, NJ.

As the Top Listing Agent for Nicholas Real Estate Agency in Clifton, NJ, Hugo is ranked in the top 1% of realtors in New Jersey. He loves his neighborhood, knows his region, which covers Passaic, Essex, Bergen, and Hudson counties, and prides himself on keeping up with the latest strategies and trends in the market to serve his clients better.

Before his 18 year career in real estate, which includes ten years specializing in distressed sales, Hugo served eight years in the US Army. As a Human Resources Specialist, he was responsible for keeping soldiers combat-ready. The honesty, integrity, discipline, and skills gained in the military have carried over to his work.
